This text is a draft prepared on the basis of Law No. 6698 and the Turkish Personal Data Protection Authority's Guidelines on Cookie Practices, and must be reviewed by legal counsel before publication. It reflects the technical state of the site at the date of publication; if an analytics tool, advertising pixel or embedded third-party content is added, those components must not go live until this policy and the necessary consent mechanism have been updated.
This Cookie Policy explains the extent to which t3gemstone.org uses cookies and similar technologies. It forms an integral part of the Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy.
1. Current Position and Scope
As at the date this policy was last updated, t3gemstone.org does not place cookies on visitors' devices. No analytics, advertising, profiling or social-media tracking cookies are used on the site.
Language preference is determined from the path in the address bar (/tr or /en); no cookie or browser storage is used for that preference.
This policy is nevertheless drafted to cover the cookie types that may be introduced in future and the principles that would then apply. If the order and payment flow is opened, or an analytics tool is added, the categories and consent principles set out below will apply and this policy will be updated.
2. What Are Cookies?
A cookie is a small text file saved to your device through your browser when you visit a website. Cookies are used for purposes such as making the site work, remembering your preferences, or producing usage statistics.
Technologies such as local storage, session storage and pixels serve similar functions and are subject to the same principles as cookies under this policy.
3. Types of Cookies
By duration: session cookies are deleted when the browser is closed; persistent cookies remain on the device for a set period.
By party: first-party cookies are placed directly by the site you visit; third-party cookies are placed by other organisations whose content appears on the site.
By purpose: strictly necessary cookies, functional cookies, performance and analytics cookies, and marketing and targeting cookies.
4. Cookies We Use
As at the date this policy was last updated, no cookies are placed on the site, and the cookie list is therefore empty.
Once cookies come into use, this section will list, for each cookie, its name, provider (first or third party), purpose, type and retention period.
When the order and payment flow is introduced, strictly necessary cookies are expected to be used to maintain the shopping basket and session security.
5. Legal Basis and Consent
Strictly necessary cookies are required for the site and for the service you have requested to function. These cookies are used without explicit consent, on the legal grounds in Articles 5/2-c and 5/2-f of Law No. 6698, but are disclosed in this policy.
Functional, performance-analytics and marketing cookies are used only with your explicit consent. They are not run before you give that consent.
Consent is not obtained through pre-ticked boxes; scrolling or browsing the site does not count as consent; and acceptance of cookies is not made a condition of access to the site. The option to refuse is offered as easily and as visibly as the option to accept.
Consent is obtained separately for each purpose and may be withdrawn at any time, as easily as it was given.
6. Third-Party Cookies and Cross-Border Transfers
There are currently no third-party cookies on the site. Links to documentation, the forum and the source code take you to separate domains; the cookie practices of those sites are governed by their own policies and are not within our responsibility.
If cookies belonging to providers established abroad are used in future, the resulting transfer will be carried out in accordance with the adequacy decision, appropriate safeguards or occasional-transfer regime in Article 9 of Law No. 6698, and will be explained separately in this policy.
7. Managing Your Cookie Preferences
Once non-essential cookies are introduced, you will be able to change your preferences and withdraw your consent at any time through the cookie management panel on the site.
You may also block or delete cookies at any time through your browser settings. The relevant steps are found in the privacy and security settings of Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge and Opera.
Please note that if strictly necessary cookies are blocked through the browser, some parts of the site may not work as expected.
8. Your Rights as a Data Subject
Where personal data concerning you is processed through cookies, you hold the rights listed in Article 11 of Law No. 6698. The scope of those rights and the procedure for exercising them are explained in the Personal Data Protection and Privacy Policy.
9. Updates
This policy may be revised in line with technical changes to the site or updates to legislation. The current text is always published on this page, and the date of last update is stated at the top of the page.
